Trust and transparency
Editorial and monetization policy
YieldPivot’s public resources are written to help growers understand measurements and make calmer decisions. This page explains our evidence standards and current commercial relationships.
Current commercial status
YieldPivot has no active advertising, no active sponsors, and no active affiliate relationships. No public guide currently earns a commission from a product link, and no advertising provider script is loaded by this site.
The software has Free and Pro plans. Links to the YieldPivot application and pricing page are first-party product links, not paid placements. A reader can use the public guides without opening an account.
How content is developed
We begin with a real grower question, separate measurable facts from judgment, and consult primary or authoritative extension material where it supports the topic. We identify important limits, avoid one universal target for every crop and system, and distinguish a meter reading from a diagnosis.
Guides emphasize a repeatable safety loop: verify the reading and units, make one measured change, dissolve or circulate fully, remeasure, and decide again. Product labels, safety data, meter instructions, water analysis, and crop- or system-specific requirements take priority over general educational copy.
Corrections and review
Material guides show a review date and list their principal sources and limits. When evidence or product behavior changes, we update the page rather than silently preserving a stale claim. Readers can report an error at support@yieldpivot.app.
Future sponsorships, affiliate links, or ads
If YieldPivot later activates a commercial relationship, it must be clearly disclosed near the relevant content. Payment, free products, referral terms, or advertising eligibility does not change our editorial conclusions. A sponsor cannot buy a favorable technical claim or suppress a material limit.
Any future advertising activation requires a separate product and policy review covering route eligibility, placement, privacy, consent, performance, security, disclosures, and an immediate kill switch. Account, authentication, billing, calculator, error, loading, and principal action workflows are not appropriate advertising surfaces. Pro users must remain ad-free.
Scope of the guides
The Resources area is educational decision support. It does not replace direct observation, calibrated meters, laboratory analysis, manufacturer instructions, professional agronomic advice, or the grower’s responsibility for the system. Source water, temperature, nutrient composition, crop, stage, reservoir scale, and equipment can all change the measured response.
